»Into the Future« Mapping
Fassadenmapping auf das Rathaus Kaufbeuren
»Kaufbeuren leuchtet« ist das Lichtkunst-Projekt der StadtKultur und findet alljährlich im November statt. 2020 und 2021 musste es aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie entfallen, für 2022 kam Betty Mü die Ehre zu, das Projekt mit neuem Leben zu füllen.
Ihre großflächige Fassadenprojektion »INTO THE FUTURE« auf das Kaufbeurer Rathaus sollte in diesen nicht ganz einfachen Zeiten daher durchaus positiv und zuversichtlich stimmen. Der Künstlerin ging es im besten Sinne um optimistische Visionen und einen gewissen Aufbruchsgeist, aber immer im Einklang mit der Natur.
So integrierte sie auch Wahrzeichen aus dem Allgäu, eine von der Künstlerin geschätzte Region, die sie schon als Kind gern besuchte. Gewissermaßen stellt »INTO THE FUTURE« auch einen ganz persönlichen Blick in die Vergangenheit dar. Die Installation bietet in geraffter Form eine Retrospektive ihrer abstrakten Arbeiten.
